| Estara dances the goddess. Ecstatic and spontaneous, she channels the timeless energy of the divine. It moves through her with the joy of pure freedom -- completely unchoreographed and utterly present in the now. And, she teaches.
When she dances, she literally becomes the great spiritual force of the feminine -- a powerful force that's re-emerging on the planet. In Estara's vulnerability and total acceptance, the goddess returns to the earth, manifest in all her glory. Dancing, she transmits a language that we have forgotten but that we instantly recognize as our birthright. This trans-forming vibration is the first and original purpose of her dance -- to uplift and open the hearts of the world. Estara's mission is to serve as a lightning rod for this primal, original fire, to communicate it honestly and directly, and, in this way, to help others come into their own power. At age 11 Estara first performed, filled innocently with the divine vibration that she herself did not yet understand. She took first place in a national dance competition, then proceeded to perform up to six nights a week, constantly in demand. At age 14, she began teaching Middle Eastern dance in many forms. Her nonstop performance schedule brought her eventually to New York City. While still quite young, she experienced a life-changing moment of spiritual awakening -- the experience of oneness in which she clearly understood for the first time the sacred power that was communicating through her. From that moment she dedicated herself to meditation and study of the healing arts, freeing the channel to her Higher Self. She learned to incorporate sound, mudras, breath, and focused intent to release stagnant energies and restore the Self as a spiritual being in physical form. Now she is ready to bring that service to the world. She has danced internationally -- throughout the US, in London, Morocco, and Bali, on television, at festivals, for the royal family of Saudi Arabia, and at the World Festival of Sacred Music (initiated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama). She has traveled the world, recognizing the presence of the goddess in the traces of every ancient culture. Today Estara IS that wisdom -- returning to the planet for the healing of all in the transformational dance of freedom. | ||
