Yoga instructor and concert vocalist, Ann Dyer's teaching is an alchemy of her passions. Asana and sound. Breath and beauty. Philosophy and wonder. Employed with equal authority and effectiveness. Her unique teaching style, which skillfully reveals and nourishes our deeper selves and greater capacities, will be featured at the 2006 Yoga Journal Conferences. Trained primarily in the Iyengar tradition, her extensive education includes a two-year intensive studies program with Rodney Yee, and since 1996, a devotion to the in-depth study of Nada Yoga, beginning with an intensive course of study in India, and continuing with private instruction with her mentor Pandit Mukesh Desai. Yoga Journal dubbed Ann "the near perfect sleep guru" for her work in 2005 with Sleep Garden in developing yoga solutions to alleviate insomnia.
