| Camping Unlimited, a non-profit organization since 1957, has provided Year-Round Programs and summer camping for children and adults with developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD and those with Physical/Emotional special needs. The year-round weekend "field trip", September thru May, offer fun day-long activities to places such as fairs, sporting events, museums, amusement parks and other exciting places. The pick-up/return is in Emervyille. Participants are supervised by experienced staff and caring volunteers. Vendored by Regional Centers, the Santa Cruz Mountains is home to our beautiful summer camp program in the town of Boulder Creek, 60 miles from San Francisco, Transportation is available from Emeryville. We provide 10 weeks of sleep-away camp programs. Participants live-in for either 3,7,10 or 12 days sessions supervised by a trained, supportive Counselors, 2:1 staffing ratio. Choose from 3 unique programs. Our traditional camp offers daily swimming in our beautiful huge pool, arts and crafts programs, dancing, music, camping out, sports and games, back backing thru nature trails, romping in our wooden playground, camping out much more. The Outdoor Adventure Camp Program offers an extra adventurous camping experience. Campers often sleep under the stars or in tents among the Redwoods and enjoy a more nature-oriented, physically challenging program. Plenty of backpacking and exploring, team building, outdoor cooking, nature crafts, and learning new camping skills. Our Travel Camp Program provides fantastic adventures while traveling to new locations across California. While staying at some of California’s state parks, Campers tour, hike, sight-see and explore new regions and learn many new camping skills with their team mates.
