| 1st & only Independently Certified Green Hauler in Oakland! Office moves, storage space clean out, trailer towing (no cars w/o trailer), furniture or appliance delivery, set up and installation, handyman, repairs and small projects of every kind (not a licensed contractor),light plumbing & electrical, on-site bicycle mechanic, yard work, general labor, you name it. Pick up truck has 5 x 8ft bed, 6000lb capacity, will fit small 1 bdrm worth of stuff in one trip. Dolly, moving blankets, hand tools, power tools, yard tools, all available – please make sure to ask. Truck is run on 100% Bio-Diesel made from 99.9% recycled vegetable oil – less pollution, no net CO2, renewable, domestically produced. Owner is fed a 100% vegetarian diet - eating low on the food chain means less waste energy water and land used; and lives a generally low impact life style. Even though I'm the only certified green in the area, my rates are still among the lowest for this type of work: $30/hr plus $1/mile (from my location in zip 94619) plus any tolls, dump fees, or other expenses. Dump fee is a minimum of $35 per load. Anything over 1 cubic yard increases this (truck to capacity is 2.5 cubic yards, $90). Very heavy materials (rock, dirt, tile, demolition debris) will cost significantly more ($90/ton – adds up fast). These are the fees the dump will charge me. Any hauler who undercuts these rates is most likely dumping your stuff by the side of the road somewhere. As much as possible, I sell / donate / reuse / give away / recycle items from dump runs. However, dump fees will be charged in every case, because there is substantially more time and work involved in reuse than in simply dumping. Not sure if I'm right for your project?
